Bestmas 2015

Toward the end of November, my sweet, awesome friend Karen Phair, noticed that I was feeling a little down. She decided to brighten my holidays by providing me with the 25 days of Bestmas!

On the first day of Bestmas, my Bestie gave to me: A bag of Cuties... and so it began.

Yummy, festive smelling candles!

Yummy treats delivered to my work!

Tasty hot cocoas!

A cheesy hallmark Christmas movie and treats to go with it. So perfect!

An adorable new scarf. I love it!

Seventh Day: Pedicures

Eighth Day:

Eat all my Turffles away... teeheehee!

Tenth Day: Karen picked me up to go to our usual workout class, but instead, we went to Wendy's and ate fries and frosties. Best workout ever!

No cooking tonight!

Soothe away my frown for sure!

Lotion!!

More foot pampering!

One of my favorite holiday treats...Calorie FREE!!

I came home from work to a clean house that smelled like Christmas. Heavenly!

 More Treats!!! Yum.

Eighteenth Day: On the 18th day Karen surprised me with a night of card making with a bunch of friends. It was so fun and so thoughtful.

This Diet Dr Pepper tree was probably one of my favorite Bestmas gifts. It was so cute and so clever!

Krispy Kreme...what else needs to be said.

2 GIANT york peppermint patties...oh my. Can you say sugar coma...?

Provo Rocks! But my Bestie rocks more! She rounded up a rare Provo rocks shirt and gave it to me.

This is seriously THE best lip balm. I love it.

Haha! A perfect tacky ornament to commemorate our marathon.

These shoes were a bit of a joke between us. I just about died laughing when I opened the box and saw these. Karen has a matching pair.

This beautiful star was made from scrap glass from the Provo City Center Temple. It's perfect and I love it so much. It's a wonderful reminder of our temple and of the amazing friend that I have.

Bestmas was the Best! The gifts were fun of course, but the best part was the thoughtful effort and love that was behind each one. I am truly lucky and blessed to have a friend like Karen.

Santa pics 2015

Santa visited the ward Christmas party once again. The boys are getting a little big to be sitting on his lap, but they didn't want to miss an opportunity to put in their orders.

Some serious thinking going on here. Not sure what he was so perplexed about, but it must have been important.

This picture of Michael's friend Cameron is just too funny...and just too classic Cam. What a joker.

Last day of school May 2015

The Franklin Dance Festival is fun tradition. The boys had some smooth moves this year!

The boys had wonderful teachers this year. I appreciate them so much!

Museum of Natural Curiosity

While Dad, Zay & Mike were away at the Klondike; Mom, Bauer & Chase took a couple friends and went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. The kids had a great time!

The boys spent most of their time in the jungle--climbing, running and tagging. We took Seth and Saxon Gutzman so each of the boys would have a buddy. They had so much fun together.

Chase in the waterworks section--all red faced from playing so hard in the jungle. Time to cool off!

Bauer got very serious about building dams and redirecting water flows. Chase and Saxon joined in and they played forever. They loved it and in the end they were soaking wet!

Bauer also spent some time in one of the new areas that was all about Motion. They had some pretty cool things in there.

There was still so much of the museum that we didn't even get to explore and since the big brothers were feeling pretty jipped that they didn't get to come this time, I think we'll have to come again.
